Speedy Rewards earn rates on the receipt
Speedy Rewards members earn 10 points per gallon of fuel and 20 points per dollar on most merchandise. The receipt prints the points earned on the transaction along with the member's running points balance, which is one of the most recognizable features of a Speedway printout.
Gallons to 3 decimals and pump number
The fuel section shows the pump number, the fuel grade (Unleaded 87, Plus, Premium, or Diesel), gallons dispensed to three decimals, a price per gallon ending in nine-tenths of a cent, and the fuel subtotal.
Store number and transaction identifiers
Speedway receipts carry an internal store number with the street address, plus a transaction or reference number and timestamp - the details customer service asks for when tracing a past purchase.
Fuel and in-store items on one receipt
Because most Speedway locations are convenience stores, a single receipt often mixes a fuel line with taxed in-store items like drinks and snacks. Fuel excise taxes are built into the per-gallon price, while store items show sales tax separately.
Card payment block
Card purchases print the card type, masked number with the last 4 digits, entry method, approval code, and reference number used to match the transaction to a bank statement.
7-Eleven ownership, Speedway branding
Speedway has been owned by 7-Eleven since 2021, but stations still print Speedway-branded receipts with Speedy Rewards messaging. Points expire after nine months of account inactivity, and promotional club offers often appear in the receipt footer.
